Despite being in the heart of Amsterdam, Camper’s newest store is a nod to Memphis.
With brightly coloured walls and patterned furniture, the shop is a vibrant reflection of the upbeat, avant-garde 1980s design world.
‘There is a thin red line that links the uninhibited, purposeful spirit of the Memphis Design of the 1980s with the free, fresh, happy Camper attitude,’ says architect . ‘It’s no coincidence that over the years, Camper stores have been decorated with furniture and objects created by Memphis designers.’
