(Love Me) Tender by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso

Wooden legs are the visible extension of the internal system of aluminum pillars.

At Milan Design Week, Patricia Urquiola unveiled (Love Me) Tender, a modular sofa for Moroso. Comfortable cushions seem to be propped up with delicate, rounded wooden legs but are in fact extensions of an aluminum frame which may be assembled and grouped into diverse arrangements.

Continuing into the back and arm rests, the posts allow the overall form of the couch to be configured as desired, including a symmetrical, asymetrical or zigged and zagged layout. The flexibility is also partly due to the soft wool jersey fabric which stretches to seamlessly cover the cushions in any configuration. Various table tops may be placed upon exposed supports for a finished look.
